On the shores of the Mediterranean lies an island ablaze with vegetation. Stemming from the fragmentation of the Pyrenees, this haven of sand and pebbles is home to a 62-hectare vineyard. Domaine L’Esparrou rises majestically from its midst. It was the residency of many artists including Dufy and Cocteau.

Winemaking

The vinification is traditional with a controlled fermentation temperature and regular pigeages with gentle extractions.

 

Food & Wine Pairings

Very expressive nose, on powerful notes of small red and black fruits raised by a liquorice touch. A wine of pleasure, crunchy and on the fruit, with a very pleasant gourmet side.

Ideal on cold cuts, tapas, grilled meat and cheeses.
